A Wi-Fi detecting scarf made for Dupont Textronics. The styling is part of a number of fashion prototypes for a research study on electronic materials and threads. Each line of electronic thread was woven into a garment and attached to a circuit for detecting Wi-Fi in localized areas.
Alison held a fashion hack workshop at Smart Fabrics 2010 that included both the LilyPad Arduino and Aniomagic's sensors and lights. The attendees only had about 3 1/2 hours to use these tools to create an interactive garment or accessory.
